Outdoor Photography Subjects, Destinations, Techniques...

This outdoor photography topic gallery covers any outdoor subjects that can be captured with the camera lens. The articles tend to revolve around photographing nature related subjects like wildlife(flora and fauna), landscape subjects from forests to mountains to oceans, and scenics of a countryside nature since these are more in keeping with my passion.

However other subjects are not ruled out. In the golden glow of late afternoon October light even dipsy dumpsters qualify as outdoor photography subjects.

I'll tell you where to find specific outdoor photo subjects, how to get there, best times to go, what you can expect from the experience, ad infinitum. Many articles will include maps, directions, and photos of the subjects and places.

Other articles will discuss techniques that will help you improve the quality of the images you take. While other articles will hopefully make the photography experience more enjoyable and less taxing by enlightening you with tips on air travel, trip preparation, and the like.

The articles are mostly written from my own personal experience photographing pictures in the outdoors over the past several years.

If not chronicled from my own personal experience, the topics are written on subjects of which I have a knowledge and passion for and are detailed from research I have done in pursuit of a particular subject to photograph...so many subjects, so little time.

Consequently this is an ever evolving site. As more trips and pictures are taken more topics and images will be added as long as the pixel supply doesn't run out.
